Details of the Specialized Roubaix Expert

The frame offers a certain compliance without compromise. With tube shapes created in the Specialized FreeFoil library and tested in the wind tunnel, the Roubaix is as aerodynamic as the Tarmac SL6. To guarantee the low weight and good riding characteristics, Specialized has continued the rider-first engineered approach, resulting in a stiff yet comfortable frame. Of course, the frame has also lost a significant amount of weight in the process.

Future Shock 3.0 – more tunable, adjustable and durable than ever before. Regardless of position on the bike, every rider now experiences 20mm of smooth travel between stem and head tube. Future Shock keeps your hands and handlebars steady and gives you more control so you can ride fast, safely and confidently.

With up to 40mm of tire clearance, this endurance machine offers better traction on rough roads and even light gravel. Thanks to the lightweight, efficient Specialized tires, the extra volume has no downside.
