With clearance for 30c tires, Orca Aero acknowledges that speed can also be comfortable. Modern road riders have discovered the advantages of bigger tires – A wider tire inflated to lower pressures can reduce rolling resistance and the added air volume dramatically increases compliance and traction.

Orbea’s engineers use the most technologically advanced carbon construction available to make the most sophisticated frame possible. A complex and painstaking process with results you will appreciate in the saddle. OMX (Orbea Monocoque X) frames combine only high modulus and high strength fibers. The carbon sheets are laser-cut to reduce excess material and overlaps, then hours of pre-moulding ensure optimal compaction with a minimum amount of carbon. A full EPS (expanded polystyrene) mould and latex inserts are used to eliminate creases and imperfections.
