Advanced Composite:

• GIANT’s high-performance carbon fiber is used to produce this special carbon frame material, which is woven and processed in-house and has an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front frame triangle is molded as a single piece. The modified monocoque construction eliminates the outer braided composite layer. This reduces weight without compromising ride quality, stability or stiffness.

Advanced Forged Composite:

• This high-pressure molding process produces components with complex shapes that are lighter and stronger than parts made from aluminum or standard AD composite. The key to Advanced Forged Composite technology is a multi-directional carbon construction and an innovative molding process that uses extreme pressure.

OverDrive:

• The original oversized steerer tube from GIANT. Built for steering precision, the extra-large headset bearings (1 1/4″ bottom, 1 1/8″ top for road, 1 1/2″ bottom and 1 1/8″ top for mountain) and tapered steerer provide optimum stiffness in the front end.

FlexPoint PRO Suspension:

• Designed as a super-lightweight rear suspension for XC bikes that require efficiency, control and responsive handling, FlexPoint Pro is a braced single pivot with 100mm of travel on the. It is equipped with a carbon swingarm that significantly reduces the overall weight of the frame.
